A preliminary hearing was held in the Almalinsky District Court in Almaty on June 6 marking the commencement of the trial of Mark Seidenfeld on the false charges brought against him at the direction of OAO “Arna”. The preliminary hearing was closed to the public. It was determined that consideration of evidence shall commence on June 15, 2007 at 11:00 and the trial shall be open to the public. It is expected the trial may take two weeks or one month to complete.
